“Give a hand”- FMP Hanoi’s Blood Donation Day

Every year on 14th June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The event, established in 2004, serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products, and to thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood.
Inspired by this day, this 22nd June 2019, FMP in collaboration with Vietnam National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) cordially invite you to participate in “Give a Hand”- FMP’s Blood donation day. FMP’s goal is to encourage FMP patients, employees, families, friends and colleagues to donate blood on this day.

Time: 9:00am- 15:00, June, 22nd 2019
Venue: 5th floor, Hanoi Family Medical Practice, 298 I Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Hanoi
Participants will be given Blood Donation Certificate, Supporting cost for traveling, Snacks, Thank you gift from NIHBT.
Besides, we will give a voucher of 5% discount on all consultation fee with all full-time doctor at FMP Hanoi for all donors and registration of “Walking Blood Bank”* as a token of appreciation. Please be noted that only one promotion can be applied in a single service.

*Parallel with this event, Family Medical Practice Hanoi is now calling for participation in our donor panel for “Walking Blood Bank” – a registry of potential blood donors.
This provides a safe and secure way of “storing” blood. People register on a list with their blood types, and if transfusion is required, a matching donor can immediately be found. The list of donors is regularly updated to make sure that when blood is needed, it is no more than a phone call away. On registration, we will provide a free blood type test along with the blood donation.
